Is there a device (other then a camcorder) which can playback MiniDV tapes on a TV? - minidv vcrs teachers favorite
Reading standard VHS tapes. Is there a device that, instead of MiniDV tapes from VHS tapes? (Then, another video camera of the device). It would be useful to read the MiniDV tape to a TV without a camera in the process.

Mini-DV tapes are expensive. new, including the economic costs of at least $ 1500. it would be better to buy a used Mini-DV camcorder and as a player. BTW, do not read the tape from the camera's built header, only heads of reproduction.
You can buy a MiniDV tape in most stores that sell video equipment line up. like a tape recorder. more or less space and usually with a cassette loading. also available online. Google and you'll probably find dozens of hits.
U can only rarely see a MiniDV cassette consumers ... Most are prof. expensive
