Mother of the bulb is actually the lining of the deposits of what is technically defined "true" pearls. Still nice, but it is good. While pearls symbolize tears, thinking of all the tears of happiness that you had! I know I cried when I did because I was so happy, happy cry in movies all the time, and probably also registered in mourning for my wedding!

The Pearl is not really, but from a shell.

"Mother-of-pearl: The pearl of the material in the shells of shellfish such as oysters, abalone and mussels. This material can be scraped, cut into thin slices and as a contribution in a variety of jewelry, furniture, etc."

As for this new kind of tears / I'd never heard, but I did some research.

Here is what I found: "The pearls symbolize tears. According to the person you are told there can be good or bad. Some stories, they say that the pearls chance to make a romantic interest is bad, because your tears, which is connected to a possible separation. Other stories that the bride wears pearls on the ceremony of marriage continue to mourn. "

Pearls symbolize fertility. "Since the first bead Vishnu gave his daughter on her wedding day, this myth has remained. Some people believe that if a woman sleeps with a pearl under his pillow pregnant. Pearls are still a common wedding gift in the hope that the bride is good cIndians. "

The beads are generally so many ways a symbol of purity and innocence of women known. In addition, many brides give them to your wedding party, as they are elegant and timeless, something that their daughters can enjoy for year to come. It is the oldest gem known for centuries was considered the most valuable.
If the appearance of mother of pearl, and then, but if elected because of "tears," I would say go with the pearls. After all, what is more good things than bad! In my opinion, are much better for a wedding.
I make rows of pearls and earrings for my bridesmaids and a necklace of pearls and crystals floating to me, and I love it! :) Save the mother-of-pearl for twins!

I hope that helps! Good luck and congratulations on your wedding!
